These authors exposed rats to 2,450 MHz pulsed microwaves, beginning at
8 weeks of age and continued daily, 21.5 hours per day for 25 months.
The average whole body SAR ranged from0.15 to 0.4 W/kg. There were more
tumours in the radiated group but this appeared to be due to an unusually
low tumour incidence in the unexposed rats. They did not find an increased
incidence in any single tumour type.
