This study was a survey of symptoms that were experienced by users of different sources of electromagnetic fields (EMFs), such as cathode ray tubes or computer monitors (CRTs), mobile phones (MP), or cordless phones (CP). The cross-sectional study was performed on 518 students at 2 Iranian universities. They filled out a questionnaire that asked about their use of EMF sources, as well as basic demographic data and self-reported symptoms.

No significantly higher prevalence of symptoms was found in individuals who used MPs, CRTs, or CPs more frequently than others.
