This was a case-control study of breast cancer in men. Occupational exposure to EM fields was assessed amongst the 227 cases and 300 controls. The authors found a statistically non-significant odds ratio of 2.9 for those most likely to be exposed to RF frequencies. This was based on 7 cases and 5 controls.

The study is limited by the low numbers, and by the low interview participation rate amongst the eligible cases and controls. As is usual with studies based on occupational history, precise exposure measurements were not available.
